Hydrotik has posted quite a comprehensive list of resources and must-have-utilities for 2009. I’ve picked a few of my own favorites that I’ll definitely will use or play with during 2009.

Popforge
Popforge AS3 audio library allows you to create a valid flash.media.Sound object with your own samples. This opens up new perspectives for sound design with the current Adobe Flash Player 9. You can create synthesizers, effects and sample-players of any kind. The supplied AudioBuffer class allows you to create endless audio playback.

Prana
Prana is an Inversion of Control (IoC) Container for ActionScript 3.0, and more specifically the Flex framework. It enables you to configure objects and components in a non-intrusive way by describing them in an external xml document and having them loaded at runtime.

GO
The Go !ActionScript Animation Platform is a lightweight, portable set of generic base classes for buliding your own AS3 animation tools. A few community projects can be found at Goplayground.

FLARToolKit
The augmented reality experiment, of which I posted a video about earlier this year – Papervision3D And Real Work Interaction

Anyways, Sam Rivello has written an excellent introduction about PureMVC over at Adobe Edge.

I also found a smaller implementation called SimpleMVC, that could be useful aswell.
